JOB MATCHING: Finding truly qualified employees It is not uncommon for many job seekers to reply to almost any job posting no matter how marginally qualified they are. That wastes time for them and you. So at ETC, we try to prepare all our job seekers with a job-searching plan and a professional-looking resume. In the process, we get an understanding of their true skills and then can match those skills to appropriate jobs in the area. So when you interview a job seeker from ETC, you know you’re talking with a qualified person. RESUME SCREENING: Expert resume screening A newspaper ad or job fair can generate hundreds, sometimes thousands, of resumes. All have to be screened even though only a small percentage will prove to be truly qualified job candidates. Following your guidelines, ETC can do this screening for you. This can save you weeks of work and significant dollars. SKILLS TRAINING: Finding truly qualified employees Many job seekers need to upgrade their skills at some point in their careers. At ETC we can identify where skills need to be improved and get the job seekers the help they need, either through our training programs or through local vocational schools or junior colleges. JOB FAIRS: Let us do the job fair for you Job fairs can generate a great many job applications, but to prepare and coordinate a successful job fair is time-consuming work. That’s why many companies are allowing ETC to mount their job fairs for them. Working under your guidelines, ETC can take your job fair from concept to completion, including arranging for booths and workers, coordinating advertising, and screening of resumes. There you can learn how to use SCOTI to place job orders and access
information specific to your labor market. Most of ETC services are offered at no charge to employers. However, there may be some charges for utilization of the ETC facilities and equipment. Employers are offered a rebate on such fees for each ETC job seeker that is hired as a result. Special services such as customized assessment or drug tests are invoiced at cost. |
